Above Huntington Reservoir
Mount Pleasant-Moroni, UT 84647
Directions: Awesome sledding hill on top of the mountains on the road between Fairview & Huntington in Utah. It is about a mile or two up the canyon from Huntington Reservoir. If you drive up there, you may or may not find this exact hill, but there are a million other hills that are just as good. It’s on the south side of the road. We just parked on the side of the road as there’s no parking lots. The hill is within view of where we parked, so we could see our cars.
Comments: People park along side of the road there all winter so I don’t think there is any danger of being towed. There would be some danger of getting hit with snow plows if it’s during a storm, but we’ve even done that on occasion and been OK. This area has a lot of snowmobilers, so you may see them. We usually go in the springtime after the snowmobilers have given up. The hazards would be trees lining or below the hill. Trees are the only hazards, but when there’s enough snow, there’s plenty of run-out before you get to any trees.
