Sunnyside Lift provides access to long gentle slopes in the Albion Basin, ideal for beginners and those just learning to ski. Adventurous skiers may find some shorter intermediate trails through the trees. If you are planning on teaching a child or friend to ski for the first time, start on Alta’s rope tows which, are free all day long, and when ready, move over to the Sunnyside Lift. Sunnyside Lift is a detachable triple making it easy to get on and off the chair.

This unique outside skate rink is free to the public. A warming hut is located next to the rink as well as shopping and public eateries within walking distance.

Hours:
Ice Skates rentals will be available for the public inside the Warming Hut adjacent to the South Jordan Ice Rink at 1600 West Towne Center.
Dates: Saturday December 4 – March 19 (dates are subject to change due to weather and conditions)
Warming Hut Hours: The Warming Hut, adjacent to the Ice Rink, will be open Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 10 PM

Saturdays 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
*Christmas Eve 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

New Years Eve 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Pricing:
Effective January 1, 2010, all skate rentals are $1.00 per day
Overnight rental will be an additional $2.00 fee per rental and skates will need to be returned to the Warming Hut the following day, during rental hours.
Group reservation rentals are available, for groups of 15 or more, at $1.00 per person (groups must turn in a group rental form at least 48 hours in advance)

Well, stop thinking about it and start doing it. If you think you got what it takes to be the next big name in stand up comedy then come on out to WISEGUYS OPEN MIC and give it a shot. Every comedian that is making a living as a professional started out at open mic and it’s every Wednesday at WISEGUYS TROLLEY SQUARE.

At the WISEGUYS OPEN MIC you will usually see 20-25 new ,amateur, professional and wannabes giving it their all.

If you are a comic or just want to see what it is like to get on stage…Just show up, sign up and go up! We take the first 20-25 performers. Sign ups begin from 6pm to 7pm Wednesday at WISEGUYS TROLLEY SQUARE.

A Sunday Love Feast is now held in nearly 400 temples worldwide. Anyone can come regardless of beliefs as we welcome all into an experience of Love.

In the Bhagavad-gita – one of the world’s oldest spiritual texts – it is said : “This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of spirituality. It is ever increasingly blissful, and joyfully performed.”

As we gather, we are led in universal prayers to the temple deities, then hear a talk with power point on spiritual philosophy by Caru Das, Temple President, or a guest lecturer. What follows is an ecstatic call-and-response chant to Krishna and Rama, which may spontaneously include blissful dancing to the chant. After closing prayers, we continue downstairs for a delicious Indian-style feast and conversation.

Come join us every Sunday for the Love Feast. No one leaves hungry for a taste of the Divine!

Dress is casual but nice. $3 donation is suggested.

The Provo Canyon Limited departs from the The Heber Valley Railroad Station, follows the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir then travels along the banks of the renowned Provo River to Vivian Park. You will have a layover of approximately 20 minutes at the Park, where the little passengers can play at the playground, and the grown-ups can enjoy the riverside views.  The return trip to the Heber Depot is just over an hour aboard the train.
