Argentine Tango Dance Classes

Tango-2

Informal weekly dance classes where you can learn to Tango with your peers and improve your dancing skills. Partner is not required and you don’t need fancy shoes to start. 

The Wasatch Tango Club is a non-profit organization founded with the soul purpose of bringing great tango to the Salt Lake Valley. For over 20 years they have been run entirely by volunteers.

World of Speed at Bonneville Salt Flats

World of Speed

This is racing that’s put on by racers, for racers. Visit the Infamous Bonneville Salt Flats for an exceptional Motorsports experience. If you have never seen land speed racing you don’t know what your missing.

In September each year is the World of Speed, (similar to Speedweek) organized by the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association. The USFRA also meet on the first Wednesday of each month throughout the summer.

Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM) was established in 2008 to bring more live acoustic music to Ogden and with a mission to provide musical opportunities to the youth of Ogden. OFOAM is a non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer board of directors.

Utah State Instrument Championships

IAMA presents the Utah State Instrument Championships USIC with ten different competitions. Each of five different contests has a Novice Division (for beginners) and an Open Division (for advanced players) contest. The five contests are Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Flatpick Guitar, and Fingerstyle Guitar.
