Academy Auditions & Placement

Students invited to join the school will train with some of the finest teachers in the country and receive instruction from renowned guest teachers, as well as members of the artistic staff of Ballet West.

No Audition is necessary for ages 2-7; acceptance may be limited due to space availability.

Children’s Division Classes

The following classes are available:

Moms, Pops and Tots: Ages 2-4 with Parent participation

Pre-KinderDance: Ages 3-4

KinderDance: Age 5 (must be in Kindergarten)

Primary: Age 6

Pre-Ballet: Age 7

Admission Policy:

Admission to the Ballet West Academy is determined by audition. Acceptance is based on the dancer’s physical capability, openness to instruction, and available space in class level.

Youth Theatre at the University is looking for actors ages 7 and up for this original production. We will also need adults.

Actors will be taught a song and a short dance routine. Bring a photo and list of conflicts September through November.

Shows dates are Nov.12 – 14 at Kingsbury Hall. To complete an audition form and to view character descriptions, visit the website.

So You Think You’re A Witch Auditions

Do you have what it takes? If you love Halloween like we do at Gardner Village, and if you have an “inner-witch” that is dying to get out…then grab your hat and broom and fly into our first annual So You Think You’re a Witch contest. You’ll have the distinct pleasure of being one of our fabulous witches, making appearances and entertaining throughout the month of October. Auditions will be held September 11, 2009. An orientation meeting will be held at The Gathering Place on August 22, 2009 at 10 am. The competition involves an interview, a witchy outfit, a witchy talent, trick or spell and a cackle.
