Farley Family Xmas

Get ready to laugh till you cry with Aunt Pearl, Uncle Heber, Fayreen the cheerleader, Qweezel Dean the wrestler and little Tiffany with the big prayers. There is no better way to spend Christmas than with your Farley Family.

Farley Family Xmas, Christmas, Play, Comedy, Theatre, Theater, UVC, Orem, Utah‘Farley Family Xmas,’ ” said Isaac Walters, media and marketing director for UVU’s Department of Theatrical Arts, “is a sequel to the enormously popular ‘Farley Family Reunion’ — the one-man show where James Arrington creates the kind of family reunion we’re all familiar with and all the weird characters we’re a little embarrassed to admit we’re related to. With ‘FFX,’ the Farley family is reunited to celebrate that most ‘specialest’ time of the year, which is all about the family.”

White Christmas

White Christmas (musical)“A holiday card come to life!”  —NY Daily News

The classic Christmas movie has been turned into a lavish holiday spectacle for the whole family to enjoy—an all-singing, all-dancing evening of theatre that includes some of Irving Berlin’s greatest songs, including Blue Skies, Sisters, I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, and of course, White Christmas.

Based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama, and Melvin Frank. Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin. Book by David Ives and Paul Blake.

A Christmas Carol

Often lauded as the “second greatest Christmas story ever told,” Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will usher you into the season of giving. This traditional story of Scrooge and his ghostly visitors is filled with old-world charm, beautiful costumes, breathtaking music and, of course, a full helping of Hale heart and comedy.

A Christmas Carol, Hale Theatre, Orem, UtahNo Christmas Season is complete without the din of family dinners, glorious games, magical mistletoe, caroling carolers, firkins of wassail, and Dickens’ timeless characters that embody Christmas cheer: Bob Cratchit, Mr. Scrooge, three Christmas ghosts, and of course, Tiny Tim. Whether you have seen it once, fifty times, or more, Hale Center Theater Orem invites you to be their guests for an evening as you escape all the noise, commercialism, and greed that have invaded this time of year so you can remember what the season is all about.
