For over 30 years, the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival is one of the nation’s premier storytelling events! Attendees from around the world come to hear stories from unforgettable performers in an enchanted setting—the Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point.
1st Week of September
Though we spend much of the year working with the 225+ MAiZE locations around the world, our original location here in Utah is where you’ll find us each fall. Cornbelly’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Fest is really a labor of love for Brett and Nicole Herbst, family and friends. A lot has changed since our early days, as each year we travel the country looking for new ideas and ways to improve. After moving our corn maze to several locations in the last decade, we’ve finally found the perfect home at Thanksgiving Point. Below are some photos from previous years themes.
Pumpkin Princess Carriage
A favorite at Cornbelly’s was the Pumpkin Princess Playland. Your little princes and princesses enchanted by a birthday tea party area, horse-drawn “Cinderella” carriage, pumpkin princess autograph and photo area, small castle for children to play inside of, a “build-a-princess” scarecrow area, and other princess-themed activities.
As you stroll through the kiddie maze on designated Saturdays in October, you just might bump into a few loveable characters passing out yummy Halloween treats. Each child will have the chance to trick-or-treat in the corn and find their own candy-filled treats! Check our Schedule of Events for days and times.
Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch
Come and pick ’em … pick out your favorite pumpkin from the hundreds in our bigger and better pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Our pumpkin prices range from $1 to $10. Plus, look for the Spookley the Square Pumpkin storytelling boards along the way.
OCTOBER THRU HALLOWEEN
Treat your sweetheart to an evening of dancing, delicious food, and wonderful music at the Thanksgiving Point’s Valentine Dinner Dance. Get your tickets early for a romantic night that always sells out.

Visit new frontiers with NASA BLAST (Bringing Light and SpaceTogether) at Thanksgiving Point. Meet the Andersons, just your average family learning and playing together, but with their eyes to the sky. Amateur astronomers and avid experimenters, the Andersons are bringing their backyard and fun to Thanksgiving Point to present NASA BLAST and share the science and majesty of space.
Located at the MUSEUM OF ANCIENT LIFE>
Did you know that distance in space is measured by how long it takes
light to travel there? The distance between the Earth and sun varies, so
that means that the light we have here on Earth is about 8 minutes old by
the time we see it. Learn facts like this and more in the Andersons’
backyard in the Museum of Ancient Life. Open their barbecue grills and
peek in their shed to find fascinating hands-on experiments on loan from
the world-famous eXploratorium in San Francisco. Dance with your very
own shadow in a rainbow of colors. Learn what makes the sky blue. Trap
light between panes of glass and watch what happens. You’ll have so much
fun you won’t even realize you’re learning all about the world and beyond.
Located at FARM COUNTRY>
Seeds that have been in space? Tiny tomatoes? The Andersons have it all
in their Space Garden at Farm Country. The Junior Master Gardeners are
planting space plants and creating lunar plant growth chambers as they
learn about the future of NASA and food in space.
Solar System Walk
Located at the THANKSGIVING POINT GARDENS>
Ever wondered how far away Earth is from Venus? How about which
planets are the closest together? The Andersons wondered too, and they
built this walk through the solar system in Thanksgiving Point Gardens
to show you. Learn the vast nature of the solar system and the size of and
distance between planets all in the beautiful serenity of the gardens. You’ll
walk the gardens as if you were in the solar system exploring the science
beyond planet earth.
