Salt Lake Bees Baseball

The Salt Lake Bees are the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Since the franchise’s return to Salt Lake City in 1994, the team has welcomed over eight million fans to Bees Salt Lake City’s Ballpark while the club has reached the Pacific Coast League Finals twice. Major League Baseball greats such as Torii Hunter, David Ortiz, LaTroy Hawkins and Francisco Rodriguez have played for Salt Lake.

Downtown Farmers Market

The Downtown Farmers Market is a local growers’ market, featuring fresh produce from over 80 Utah farmers.

In addition to the produce, the Market also offers a variety of fresh-baked bread and pastries, cheeses, meat and seafood, jams and honey, house and garden plants, arranged planters, and numerous handmade arts and crafts.

Unique food vendors also are a part of the Market, offering prepared foods and beverages.

The Downtown Art and Craft Market are held on the south end of the park during the Farmers Market. More than 90 local artisans display their wares, crafted in Utah by Utahns.

Live music and entertainment are also included.

Brigham Young Historic Park Concerts

The Brigham Young Historic Park is on the southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue (North Temple), one block east of Temple Square.

Free Public Star Party

The U of U Department of Physics and Astronomy conducts free public Star Parties every CLEAR Wednesday night on the roof of the South Physics Building at the University of Utah.

Spring and fall hours begin at 8:00 pm. During winter, star parties will begin at 7:00 pm. In the summer, the observatory will be open at 9:00 pm.
