Tubing Hill

Snowbasin Tubing with Lifts, Sledding, Winter Activities, Winter Olympics, Utah, Weber County, HuntsvilleOur lift assisted four-lane tubing hill provides family fun for all ages! Located at the former finish line area of the 2002 Downhill courses, visit the Snowbasin tubing hill for an exhilarating ride. Access is provided by a handle tow lift, and a rubber tube is included with your ticket. The resort shuttle stops close to the tubing hill every 20 minutes to take tubers to Earl’s Lodge and the Grizzly Center.

During the winter season, the tubing hill is open every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday holidays from 10am to 4pm.

Flat Iron Mesa Park

The largest developed park at 31.8 acres in the Sandy Parks System is also the most varied for terrain, taking its name from a hilly outcropping. The park is a full service park, providing 6 soccer fields, 2 baseball fields 1 volleyball court, 2 playgrounds, 4 tennis courts, and 2 outdoor lighted pavilions. The upper pavilion has a great view of the entire valley. For those who love to walk or jog, there are three different jogging trails, ranging from 1/3 to 1 mile in length.

In the Winter during the snow season Flat Iron Mesa Park provides one of the best Free Tubing Hill’s in Utah!

Gondola Ride & Mountain Hiking

Park City Canyons offers some of the finest hiking trails in the Park City area. Take a scenic gondola ride to access the Mid-Mountain Trail.

Mountain Biking/Hiking at the Canyons

Mountain Biking, The Canyons Resort, Park city, Utah Discover miles of scenic trails that allow you to explore the resort and connect with Park City’s massive trail network. Trailheads are located at the base area and mid-mountain near Red Pine Lodge.

This summer, we will also be running the High Meadow chair lift from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing access to the family-friendly Red Pine Loop. There is no additional charge for riding this lift and bike racks will be available. Also be aware that sheep grazing occurs on these mountains. Keep pets leashed at all times and avoid herd dogs as they may become aggressive. Note: Helmets are required for those biking at the resort.

Mountain bike rentals are available at a number of locations in the Resort Village. Trail Maps are available at Canyon Mountain Sports in the Resort Village and can be downloaded from our website.
